Benefits of an Animal Reiki session include:
- For pets who are healthy, Reiki helps to maintain their wellbeing, enhances relaxation and provides an emotional sense of peace and contentment. This is great for when a new animal is being added to a household or herd to provide a nurturing space to integrate the personalities and pecking order.
- For animals who are ill, Reiki is a wonderful complementary healing method that safely integrates with all other forms of health care. This is calming for both the one sharing and receiving Reiki. Great for vet techs, groomers, and veterinarians, farriers, animal dentists and chiropractors to add to their medicine bag to calm the animal, owner, and space where the procedure is happening.
- For animals preparing to leave the earth, Reiki is a powerful yet gentle way to provide comfort and to ease the transition to death.
What is Animal Reiki?
Animal Reiki is a non-invasive method for sharing life force healing energy with companion animals. This life force energy that makes up all living things can be focused to your pets allowing the healing energy to go where it is needed the most. Reiki is ideal for use with animals because it is gentle and can relieve stress, discomfort, and pain. Animals respond intuitively to Reiki’s power to support the healing of emotional, behavioral, and physical illnesses and injuries.
Here is a picture of Rico shifting in my direction to find out where the energy is coming from. Since horses are empathic sentient beings, they can sense invisible life force energy. They are highly perceptive to the emotions of the people around them. When the people are calm the animals are calm. This is especially helpful with horses, cats, and dogs.
When I swim in the open oceans with wild dolphins, they respond when I emit Reiki life force energy into the waters. On one trip after a few minutes in the water with the dolphins, they were beginning to swim away. I took off my snorkel and fins and was simply playing, laughing, and spinning in circles the warm salty sea. Next the idea arose to draw the reiki symbols underneath the water with my hand. Shortly after that, the captain of the boat nearby said the dolphins were turning around and coming back towards us. Energy received! Dolphins are curious and wanted to get closer to the source, Me! HaaHaa.
I love to be in the Reiki space and look forward to sharing it with you. The next Reiki I and Animal Reiki Training is Saturday October 21, 2017 from 10:00-5:00 in Moscow Idaho. Click here for more information.
